WHAT ARE YOU READING NOW????? I'm halfdone reading  Robert Goolrick : A Reliable Wife It is SO good!! It's so descriptive and elegantly written that it really transports you back in time. It feels as though I'm really there, in these people's minds, experiencing their thoughts & memories...their weaknesses and wants. Beautifully written.

And soap opera-ish. I know this was written in the late 1800's, but no one ever talked the way they talk in that book.

I'm currently reading Linda Thompson : The Plum Blooms in Winter: Inspired by a Gripping True Story from World War II's Daring Doolittle Raid (Brands from the Burning) and I am enjoying it immensely. Great clean WWII historical fiction; I highly recommend it.

Better late than never....
What are you reading now??? Well, I was reading James Patterson : Miracle on the 17th Green: A Novel BUT, I had to quit it halfway through....I am just not into golf. Since I'm a Huge James Patterson fan, I thought he would make it interesting. I was wrong. I found it to be SO boring. I kept hoping it'd get better, but it didn't. So, NOW, I'm reading Koethi Zan : The Never List: A Novel It's MUCH better!! A different book altogether....a thriller. About 2 girls at a party who think they got into a cab, when they really got into a strangers car......something they're NEVER supposed to do, and end up being prisoners in his basement/dungeon. EWWWWWWW.

I am reading River of Doubt by Candice Millard. http://bookmooch.com/m/s/the+river+of+doubt+theodore+roosevelt+darkest+journey It's an account of Teddy Roosevelt's difficult journey along an unmapped rainforest river with his son Kermit, many laboring South Americans known as camaradas, and famous Brazilian explorer Candido Mariano da Silva Rondon. It's fascinating to read what this elder statesman did to challenge himself after losing his last bid for the White House to Wilson. You will definitely enjoy this armchair travel from the comfort of home without insects and waterfall rapids!

WHAT ARE YOU READING NOW????? I'm still reading William Martin : Back Bay It's good, I like how the chapters alternate from Past to Present. I'm not as many pages into it as I'd like to be...my real-life keeps getting in the way. But so far, I have no complaints.

| (9 années) | Wally Lamb : Wishin' and Hopin': A Novel Was a really cute book, and a few parts made me laugh out loud....About a boy who's related to Annette Funicello, and goes to a Catholic school, a Russian exchange student with a thick accent that's wicked funny, and a big Christmas play that's a riot.
Then I read a Dave Barry book, Dave Barry : The Shepherd, the Angel, and Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog That was really cute too, and only took 2 days to read.
Now, I'm reading Graeme Cameron : Normal It's a Hardcover Edition, not the paperback copy listed here. It's fiction, about a serial killer and told from his point-of-view.

YES, I finally finished reading Stephen King : Revival and I thought it was wicked good. Didn't get a little strange till right towards the end, but...it was a Wild ride.
Overall, I'd give it an "A". I have to let someone borrow it, and then I'll be adding it to my Inventory.
