I just read this new book (library copy) and loved it! Rafting through the Grand Canyon is just as much of an adventure as is putting 15 strangers together in three small rafts for almost 2 weeks away from civilization. The 3 guides are skilled, particulary J.T., and handle the mechanics of the trip as well as the personality conflicts, the arrogant "know-it-all", the shenanigans of two young boys, the marital conflicts and the accidents and misadventures of the group. I want to go on a rafting trip with J.T.!
