Status message:
Unfortunately, I suffered a brain aneurysm almost 5 years ago, which set off a stroke. Even if I didn't realize how lucky I am to be alive, the doctor made it plain by telling me the odds against me. I am on Social Security Disability, which luckily for me, includes Medicare. My cash income is very low, which is one reason I'm on bookmooch, so I am very limited on how much money I can spend on postage. Once I am up to that amount each month, that's it.
Added March 2011: The last tradesize paperback I sent to Europe was $12.50. From now on, the only out of country books I can send will be mass market paperbacks.

I am a Trekker, and I am proud! I am also a Ricardian, a Rennie, a costumer, a SCA fellow traveler(can't afford to belong any longer),a Janeite(same problem).
I grew up in Southern California, which is not mythical, folks. For a couple of years, Disneyland was the bus stop when I was coming home from work, and Hollywood was where I went to buy used books. I now live in Chicago, and while the negatives about the weather are true, so are the positives about the people.
