***Special offer: I bought too many highlighters. Let me know if you'd like one (mostly neon-yellow, some other colours). FREE of course. I bubble-wrap and/or pad books I mail out. My books are in perfect condition, with few exceptions that I already received looking shopworn or read. I'll send them to Europe and if I can afford it overseas as well (Economy mail). I WILL NOT SEND WITHIN AUSTRIA AT THE MOMENT. Please consider mooching at least two books at a time. Consider that airmail from America to Europe is actually cheaper than economy mail from Europe to America. Depending on their weight, sending three pocketbooks at a time to America barely breaks me even, while sending less is actually unaffordable. If you'd like more than one book from an author or a genre, I might have it back home and not in my inventory yet but will offer it to you - asking always pays off. ***
UPDATE: postage prices have doubled, and the new weight limits means the price has trippled overseas in most cases. Sending a pocket book overseas now costs twice as much as buying it, but buying strangers books for nothing (since I cannot get anything for my points these days) is insane. ETA: the books listed as "lost" in my profile had never been sent to me by their owners. Long-time unemployed poor person; due to financial (and space) difficulties, I let go of many brand-new unread books in excellent condition. I have still dozens to add. I write and appreciate detailed condition notes in inventories. I've started adding pictures of scans of books that have no cover images in BM. PLEASE do not send books in simple thin unlined paper envelopes or loosely in oversized envelopes, they keep getting damaged in the mail.
ETA: On the other hand, if they are creased and scuffed already, you don't need to do that, kind senders. :) I know how much postage costs most of us - I'm happy with having books sent to me the slowest, most economic way. ***
